First step: Examination of External and Internal Environments
The first of strategic planning process requires an examination of both outside and inside environments of the organization. The external environment is the factors influence the performance of the organisation, and the inside operations and business function are the internal environment.
Second step: Analysis by SWOT
After reviewed both environments, use SWOT to analyse them. the internal environment is analysed in terms of Strengths and weaknesses and the external environment in the viewpoint of opportunities and threats.
Third step: Articulation of Mission Statement
The managers should classify what is mission, what is vision and how to achieve the goal. Then, they should be in planning mode; set objectives and goals.
Fourth step: Development of Action Plans
Once objectives are established, action plans are developed to achieve standards of performance. Action Plans for long-term called strategies; for short-term called tactics.

In my opinion, we should search for both on the internet and in books from the library. As my understanding, the one of the most important indicators that evaluates the effectiveness of ICT plan is customer's satisfaction. However, I will try my bext to look for the theory to support my understanding.
ReplyDeleteSometimes to find the reasons supporting that idea. Not need books or theories that have been confirmed. But if the understanding of Pearson. And why the reality of it is to understand what it will be more understanding.
